And while I was out, I thought I’d stop by Two Fat Cats to see what’s changed since I was last there in November (I had to go to Angela Adams and Micucci’s so I was in the neighborhood anyway). I hate to say it, but Two Fat Cats is still dirty. They have more items on offer and, to be fair, they have cleaned up a little bit. But I’m still not impressed. The difference between Geo’s and Two Fat Cats is like night and day. The counter and bakery staff in Two Fat Cats could not be less interested or enthusiastic. And I can’t help but respond accordingly to their baked goods.
That said, they do make a damn good brownie. And it’s giant. In fact, I’d be willing to bet it might just be the best brownie I’ve ever had. So there. It ain’t all bad.
